Totton U3A French Language Group

After the holiday's feeling seemed to imbue the milieu of our small group but later post the usual tea break and spirits regained the old enthusiasm. Disk 6 is not easy to master and we struggled but we will get there.
Next week at Jack & Joan's at 10am Monday in Ashurst

Made more sense this time round. Only six of us could make it but it still went well. Next week no meeting as grandchildren come first but we all promise to do some homework - don't we?
Meet again at my house the following week 10am when we listen and answer Michel as he quizzes his students on disk 6.

Pouvoir and devoir were two of the verbs we learnt about today I can and I must and so must we. We will listen again next week to disk 5 as one attempt is not enough, no wonder the two students of Michel are struggling.
Change of venue back to my place and back to Monday at 10 am

Jo back from France related her travels in halting French which we mainly understood before settling down to another session. It was a pleasant morning for the seven of us who again listened attentively to Michel berating his pupils.
Next week again at Hazel's but on a Tuesday. When we will tackle disk five.
