22 December

Icy start to the morning going to Sue's and found road blocked off as a van had driven into a house almost wrecking it. Once there Myra led us into singing carols in French with appropriate actions indicating the various parts of the body mentioned in the song.
Sue spoiled us by providing delicious mince pies and a cream rich cake. Afterwards we completed a crossword from French to English.

Met at Myra's where there was roaring open fire in her front room trouble was though we met in the other room! Myra had good news of the birth of a granddaughter at 3am that morning so we had to toast the baby with a small glass of cider.

Myra had prepared a series of amusing questions about our own Christmas traditions all in French of course. After a break we continued with Coffeebreak French

8th December

Geoff's today with the usual extra special treat with our tea, Janet's fresh home made cream scone served by Janet herself.
