23 June
Really hot morning but nice under the shade outside in the garden of Pat's bungalow. Myra unable to come having a bad back. We listened to NO 26 of the sound files that Mike translated for us.
Translation into spoken English - Can you help me? Certainly. Although that depends. I have to go and get Julien this evening at 7:30. I had completely forgotten that I have an appointment with the dentist at 6:30. Can you take my place? Where, at the dentist? No at the station. You are silly sometimes. Ooh no problem even if it is inconvenient. There is going to be traffic jams as usual.
Afterwards we answered questions posed from a French lesson.

16th June
A nice sunny morning at Geoff's residence as usual. Myra gave a commentary of the HAF trip to London and No10 to deliver a petition all in French. She then gave us some dictation from a transport leaflet about the circulation of traffic and the ban from the Rouen town square.
After some delicious cakes made by Janet we listened to an downloaded Ipod recording a discussion about the situation in Iraq but it was decided that it was a bit too advanced for us.

9th June
We finished Cinderella at long last, the French version was more kindlier than English versions and they all lived happily ever after. We then after the break as a team answered thirty odd question from a French book.
2nd June
Met at June and Ray's on a wonderful summers day. We continued with he tale of Cinderella but it took us until tea break to cover the first part that we went over the previous week. It was decided that we would go outside for our refreshment outside into the garden. This became so sociable tht nobody wanted to go back in and continue with French, so we didn't
