Met at Geoff's just 11 of us. Mike told of his holiday in Germany in a hotel that was dedicated in murals to Le Petit Prince a novel by Antoine de Saint Exupéry a wartime pilot. We read of some poor girl in a French household who made Cinderella appear lazy. Myra read some of her poetry one dedicated to June for bandaging her hand that suffered the dog bite. We consumed deliciouys cakes baked by Janet. Afterwards we continued with Coffee Break French.

Only one short of a full group and again Myra's old school lessons were read and translated. Colin called in as he was at home rather than beetling around France. A bit of a late start and Myra went off to have her hand looked at having had an ungrateful dog bite her. Despite the protests of the many little groups that seemed to form a hotbed of discussion we then listened to Coffee Break French.

At Ray & Junes today with more of the same from Myra's school books and followed by Coffee Break French. Amusing morning with a finishing conversation about greeting people and the etiquette of kissing and handshaking.

Chez Nous aujourd'hui small class so we never split up to discuss the lesson in Myra's 1920 old school book, not that I'm suggesting Myra is....
Quite amusing and nice that we can have a go in French. Who knows one day if we live long enough we might even be able to hold a conversation. Oh well we can dream.
