25th March
We met at Geoff's house today and again it was a good day compared to the bitter cold we've recently had.
Sheila's birthday today so we rendered the usual Happy Birthday and cakes were produced a whole circle of small fancy cakes each spelling out Sheila and another larger one. All decorated with candles although not one for each year!
Myra produced a page for all of us to read about some poor ox that had to have its feet shod by the blacksmith. This involved a frame to hang the poor beast on as apparently they can't stand on three legs. Not sure they would stand still either.
After tea and the cakes we continued with the story of Chloé

Met at Myra's. We split up into two groups and using the props that were displayed we engaged in questions and answers as to the names and properties of the many objects.

Having downloaded from various sources from French learning programs and using them a a crib sheet we split into two groups to tackle sentence construction. This worked quite well. After a tea break the rest of the time we discussed the proposed French trip to Le Goulet in October.
4th March
At Pat's today on a cold but sunny day. Myra got us to form groups with those with more ability to take the lead. Bit different approach with lots of problems finding the correct pronoun according to the gender of the noun.
After tea we continued with Chloé
