26th January Meeting
Met at Myra's where Myra had set up the two rooms to play Scrabble and cards. Mike took over the running of the card game while we played scrabble - didn't learn much but amused us at least those not taking it seriously.

Ray & Junes with dictation first about the previous festivities in the form of questions by Myra. After biscuits and tea we completed jointly a crossword then followed it with French podcast lesson 46.
12th January
Chez Nous today and it was quite informative as we went over the en and y usage.

We met at Pat & Brian's for the first meeting this year on a cold morning with snow expected later in the day.
Myra had prepared a series of questions for us to ask each other and to respond. As my partner was Myra so there was no escape and my limited ability to converse was encouraged enough to utter a few sentences although my understanding is far better than my ability to speak it.
Pat spoiled us again with a choice of biscuit or small cakes and afterwards we listened to our usual French podcast.
