26 th February

Meeting at Ray & June's. Mike read out his sailing diary in French although he translated line by line afterwards as it was not easy to comprehend. At one time I thought he said they never had enough wine which surprised me but apparently it was lack of wind! All sounds the same to me.
We then read about the ass who threw a young child in the pond. After a tea break everybody got involved in discussing the proposed trip to France.

19 February

Different from last week when we were able to take advantage of the sunshine today we were glad to bask in front of John's open fire. Myra went over the pronouns again and the subject object part of the sentence. During tea there was a lot of talk about going to France. Don't think I would like to go by night crossing. Pat's holiday is more like it picked up at the door whisked to the Eurostar and a fast trip to gay Paree staying at the best hotel.
We finsihed reading page 7 of Chloé
Julien : Il est où, tonton ?
M Vincent : Je ne sais pas, Julien. Antoine va arriver …
Chloé : Oui, votre fils va arriver. Vous attendez ici.
Voyante : Cinq heures moins vingt à Paris.

12 February 2008 at West Tytherly

What a grand morning for a journey to West Tytherly. Amazingly all fourteen of us turned up in time, in my case more by luck. Sue had invited us for a good morning's French and a meal. We continued with the pronouns and then the first page of Chloé's followed by an excellent potage of various kinds and other delights including some delicacies which I dare not name. The home made cranbury juice was delicious.

5th February

At Myra's and as we had to leave early for our Brockenhurst College lunch we had a shortened French reading and after tea we played (7's) cards in French of course. Quite amusing.
Next week with Sue at Red Lane West Tytherly SP5 1NY Look out for the displayed tricolour 10.30 start
