Full House

All eight of us once again listened to Michel with his clever two students who seem to know more than us. But we started disk two and into the future tense without using aller. It's weird what happens to avoir in the future tense.
I have now bought the french Builder the next course for us keen learners. I'm sure you will be pleased!
Next week again at Leaside although a few will be away.

Back up to seven

Another positive get together mastering disk one. Back up to seven with Sue returned suitably refreshed from an Italian holiday despite missing her water bed.
Next week at Leaside.

Then there was six

Only six attended for today's brainstorming. Sue was skiing on the Italian slopes and Jo was called away but we soldiered on despite some post Christmas lethargy.
Completed the first disk but will go over it again next week. The students are far brighter and a lot is hammered home as they answer Michel in machine gun fashion compared to the first two students.
Next week still at Jack and Joan's.

First go at the advanced French

Started the new advanced course and only managed to listen to half of the first disk as it has 25 tracks per disk. Michel confused us with his long boxes and short boxes but we will get there. Next week at Jack and Joan's residence.

Just read up on what they charge for Michel Thomas's tutoring by his specially trained instructors. Private instruction up to 4800 with 4 students 2500 each. When he was alive - naturally - he gave personal tuition in London as long as you paid the course fees and the cost of his hotel Mayfair bill and the flight to and from from USA.
