Meeting at Sue's today and another sunny day so during the tea break when Sue tempted us with strawberries and cream we were able to go into the garden. Myra recounted her trip up to London to the Globe theatre and her adventure in finding it from the station without a map.
All in French of course which we tried to write down several of the sentences with varying degrees of success.

18th June
We all met at Myra's today for a full hour of mainly French sentences about the plans of the September trip to France with some dictation. After a break we went out into the garden and continued the French theme in the way of prepared written questions. A nice morning.
10 June
A nice sunny day again at Geoff's for our immersing in the French language. We continued with the childrens story involving Bobbette and three washerwoman singing

Donc j'ai fait ma prime enfance et début d'adolescence et je suis arrivé en France
So, I spent my early childhood and early teenage years (there) and I came to France

Wettest day for years, roads flooded around Totton but almost a full group arrived at John and Sheila's. Myra explained the mystery of conjugating verbs.
