Ideal morning at Pat and Brian's sitting out under the porch in their splendid garden.
No Myra today so we for a change as a group we translated orally a whole list of statements in Teach Yourself instant French. Quite amusing. We stopped for tea and Pat's tempting cakes as well as biscuits. Afterwards we listened to Coffee Break French.

20th July
Nice enough for all of us to spend the morning under the shade of a gazebo in John and Sheila's garden, just eight of us. June and Ray were back from their Malta holiday. Myra brought along several poems which we all took turns to recite with understanding after reading Myra's translation.

At Geoff's today so refreshments included a nice selection of cake when we stopped midway - thanks Janet.
Myra brought in a sheet of French opening sentences at O level oral tests for us to practise on - quite useful information. We then continued with Coffee Break French lesson 69.

Good morning all of us felt we are progressing. Myra brought in materials and pictures to get us to speak about. Excellent Coffee break lesson as well.
