Totton U3A French Language Group

Met at Pat's Myra spoke about June and Ray's 50th party in French of course. The she gave us some dictation and she brought leaflets in French for visitors to the New Forest Museum which we translated. After tea we continued with the 5th episode of Learn French by podcast.

Met round Geoff's, low on numbers but a good meeting. Myra had the two crosswords again for us in French. After some of Janet's wonderful cakes were consumed we resumed the Learn French recording by just listening as we had no translation prepared. Somewhat hard going.

We were at John's today for another entertaining French session. Myra spoke quite a lot in the language which was mainly grasped with some difficulty. Afterwards we translated a card that Ray & June sent from France about the sorts of Goblins one might meet in Normandy and other parts. We then met the challenge of a rather simple but amusing crossword to fill out before a tea stop. To finish we continued with the ipod download recorded on a CD.
