25 th August
Chez Myra's today Much to discuss but not all in French. Sheila told us of her scare that a laptop was left behind and the Samaritan who volunteered to take it to Heathrow and then finding out it was not meant to go. Mike told us in French about his daughter's vain attempt to find a camp site in France finally ringing Mike up in England for help.
Myra related her epic battle to clean out the fish tank.
We then went over again the rules of using moi, lui, elle etc
After the break we continued with Coffee Break French

18th August meeting
Very small class today only four of us but sitting out under P&B's sun protected porch we enjoyed being out in the garden. It is a nice setting, peaceful apart from the distant chickens, with its green lawn and distant trees. We enjoyed filling out a crossword in French and after a refreshing tea and biscuits we listened to coffee break French.
At Myra's next week.

Chez nous, down in numbers but a very good exercise in stretching our grey matter. Myra says we are brilliant, we all think we are rubbish but it's fun.
Myra gave us a spot of dictation from a description of her day at Lyndhurst with the multi cultural mele gathering.
Afterwards we listened to Coffee Break French lesson 44.
