French for absolute beginners
Eight studious and dedicated pursuers of erudition gathered in Jo’s house to master the French language with the help of the unusual teaching method of Michel Thomas. Over two hours of concentration and relieved only by a stop for tea and a biscuit we strove to grasp without grasping the mysteries of sentence construction in another language.
Were we impressed? Yes, at the end we were stringing words to together with confidence such as "where would you like to eat tonight?" Seriously it is a good method and working with other people you feel you can complete the whole eight hours and achieve something worthwhile.
Our next meeting is on Monday again.
Eight is about the maximum for one group to meet in a house anybody else interested in forming a group let me know.

Reviewer: A reader from Ireland Quite simply this is a fantastic find though a little expensive. But I do think it is worth it. I am in France at the moment and I find that this course has given me the tools and confidence to speak French, which I could not do after 5 years in school French.
