We met at Geoff's house today and again it was a good day compared to the bitter cold we've recently had.
Sheila's birthday today so we rendered the usual Happy Birthday and cakes were produced a whole circle of small fancy cakes each spelling out Sheila and another larger one. All decorated with candles although not one for each year!
Myra produced a page for all of us to read about some poor ox that had to have its feet shod by the blacksmith. This involved a frame to hang the poor beast on as apparently they can't stand on three legs. Not sure they would stand still either.
After tea and the cakes we continued with the story of ChloƩ
