Pat & Brian's today for another cheerful attempt to master/abuse the French language. Myra forgot to bring the lesson for today much to our relief with the prospect of drinking tea and gossiping all morning. I upset the plan by suggesting we each translate a few sentences of our own making. Of course that made me the first to have to do it. This proved popular,the hour soon passed with most of us describing in halting French our recent activities from going to the cinema climbing mountains with bad knees and visiting restaurants. Followed by tea and biscuits. After the break we listened to Coffee Break Breakfast. No-one seemed in a hurry to leave so they must have enjoyed it.
