Just the four of us today but a busy session viewing a vintage news reel of very fast but clearly spoken French about the first world war. The pressure that drove men to volunteer with those who didn't accused of cowardice. The battle plans of Haig drawn up on the Scottish golf course. After reviewing the text it was a lot easier to understand the second time around. We then finished by listening to Paul disc 6 track 11
